Was this review helpful? After about a month the CF cards would not longer fit into the slot. always need a card reader. The card reader under review is plugged into a 7 HSB data hub and the card never loses power from the hub as the much more expensive Lexar did.

You can have more than 1 slot transferring at the same time. The slot is too tight and you run the risk of damaging your card is you try to force the card into the reader. For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried switching out the USB cable and connecting to a different USB port? weblink works good, other than pretty annoying to have to unplug and replug the usb cable to get a card recognised.
